Grampy’s Charities began 24 years ago as a way for concerned and philanthropic people to raise funds for worthy causes. Back then, as now, the annual gathering is the Grampy’s focal point of charitable giving and camaraderie.

Each year a two-day Charity meeting is held in New England. Attendees discuss our mission, enjoy good food and cheer, and participate in an assortment of fundraising activities. Center to these are the annual silent auction, the special raffles and the “it comes from above” ball-drop demonstration.

In each of the past few years we’ve raised nearly $90,000 for our various charities. We hope to break the $2Million donated charitable funds mark in 2009!

Our board of directors takes no salary and our expenses are minimal.

We carefully consider charities for inclusion at our semi-annual board meetings.
